Dr. med. vet. Petra Leitenstorfer
Specialist veterinarian for small animals
Practical veterinary doctor
Additional specialism in homeopathy
Practice Owner

Becoming a vet was my lifelong dream. And although I have now worked as a vet for many years, I am still love about my daily work with animals. I received a doctorate in veterinary science from the LMU Munich and gained first practical experience as a vet in a range of animal clinics. During this time I also completed a four-year training as a veterinary specialist for small animals as well as  in natural healing methods and homeopathy. In addition to my everyday work, I keep up my training in diagnostics and therapy and stay up to date with the latest developments in order to ensure the most up-to-date treatment for your animals.

Dr. med. vet. Sybille Ernsberger
Practical veterinary doctor

Dr. Ernsberger has supported Dr. Leitenstorfer in her practice since June 2010. She studied at the Freie Universität of Berlin, where she received her doctorate and worked in veterinary anatomy. She subsequently chose to work in small animal medicine. Via Zwiesel in the Bavarian Forest and the Swabian town of Reutlingen, she came to the beautiful Franconian region and feels very much at home in Erlangen.
Her main interests are in the field of sonography, especially cardiological sonography.
Animals are close to her heart, in particular her tomcat Pelle.
